Trinity Lutheran College has a number of structures in place delivered by parents, church and staff that make our Community an exceptional community to be part of. The support parents can gain and give here is – we believe – rare and unmatched. The care in our community truly is love in action. Read on to discover how we as a community support our parents.

Ministry Worker

Our College has a part-time Ministry Coordinator supporting family connections and running a weekly Bible study and prayer group. We are fortunate to have the Pastor from the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church visit our College on a regular basis, providing pastoral support to staff, students and families.

Trinity Parent Support Group

The Trinity Parent Support Group (PSG), a volunteer group of existing parents and church members coordinated by the College Ministry Worker, reaches out to our College families and their children, working together to assist each other in many ways. This can include the provision of pastoral care, confidential support and practical assistance especially in challenging times; encouraging and creating opportunities for friendship among College families across each year level; supporting new families to the College so that they feel welcome and part of the College community.

Each year level or learning community has a team of PSG leaders. They organise social events to help develop friendships between families and provide a point of contact to initiate the provision of care to families within that learning community, particularly at times of crisis, sickness or other need.

Further information on our Parent Support Group can be found here.

Partners in Print

Partners in Print is a highly-valued literacy program offered annually for our Prep parents. This engaging and hands on program prepares and empowers parents to support their children at home to become successful readers and writers.

Parenting Programs

Tuning into Kids and Tuning into Teens are two popular  parent programs that are offered for Trinity parents to participate in each year. These programs focus on helping parents to understand the stages their child will go through and what strategies they can put into place to enhance positive relationships with their child and for their family.

Easy, Healthy Dinners

To help busy parents, our College Canteen provides a choice of two wholesome take home meal packs Monday to Thursday for $12 with enough food to feed two people.
