Trinity Lutheran College takes a two fold approach to its Performing Arts for students to further their interests, passions and talents in a variety of performance related pursuits. Extensive research demonstrates that learning an instrument or learning dance dramatically improves scholastic performance, enhances confidence, commitment and time management.
Private Tuition is available through the College as part of its extensive extra-curricular opportunities. The Instrumental Program provides tuition in vocal, dance and a variety of instruments.
The instrumental music program at Trinity gives students the opportunity to learn an instrument of their choice from a team of highly qualified music tutors.
- Guitar (acoustic, electric and bass)
- Strings (violin, viola, cello)
- AMEB Theory
A limited range of instruments are available for hire. Students in the instrumental program will have the opportunity to be part of the College Band and various Ensembles to perform at College events, compete in the Mildura Eisteddfod and showcase their talents at an instrumental concert.
Vocal tuition is available on an individual basis within the Instrumental Program. Students will have the opportunity to perform throughout the year.
Tuition is available in:
- Hip Hop
Dance students choose between individual, duo and group lessons.
College Performances Opportunities
Each year the primary students are involved in a variety of performance opportunities. This can include small group and year level activities, performed for both peers and parents.
The secondary students participate in performances associated with their drama and media curriculum studies. These are usually held during school time with an audience of their fellow students. Our College presents a high-class musical on an annual basis with students from Years 5 to 10 involved in all aspects of the cast, back stage and sound and lighting crew.
At certain time in the school term, the College holds special dance and musical concerts for students to showcase their work and talents.
See our School Events Calendar to find out dates for these performances.
