Facilities for Future Leaders

Our building program is ongoing as we strive to provide a high standard of education to continually meet the changing needs of 21st century learners.

Facility Upgrades

Trinity Lutheran College is excited to have received $1M from the Australian Government Capital Grants Program towards the renovation and refurbishment of the Mungo and Hattah Wings in the first stage of plans at Trinity.

Secondary Refurbishment (Mungo and Hattah Wings)

The project aligns with the College Master Plan to provide quality innovative learning spaces that promote best education practises, support inquiry learning approaches and offer access to technology services that enhance all learning opportunities. In order to further support our College pedagogy and align with our strategic direction, the development of these existing and additional learning spaces to that which is flexible and innovative, fostering 21st century learning pedagogies is critical.

Other stages of the project include upgrades to the Courtyard, Hawthorn Wing and Library refurbishment and the inclusion of an Outdoor Nature Play area.

Upon completion, the project will enable students and staff to engage in collaborative learning opportunities that promote quality teaching and improved student outcomes, sustainable facilities and increased community use of our facilities through regular community based activities. The projects are expected to be completed in 2023.

  • Library

Our modern library plays an important role in assisting our students with their learning and encouraging and supporting a love of reading. Our students have frequent access to a regularly updated wide range of literature and reference material to complement the IB model of inquiry learning.

  • Sports Facilities

We are well resourced with great sporting facilities for all of our students. With a large oval, synthetic hockey pitch, 2 x flexi pave basketball/netball courts and practice cricket nets students are able to participate in both coaching and competitive opportunities throughout the year.

  • Mallee Sports Hall

This indoor court is competition-sized and suitable for basketball, netball and volleyball with a drop down net for half size court games such as badminton. There is an electronic scoreboard, spectator tiered seating, showers, toilets and first aid room. An adjoining classroom provides the ideal location for classroom theory and independent learning space.

  • Sunset Hall

Sunset Hall is a multipurpose entertainment and function space that has a built in stage, sound, and theatre lighting, large screens and wi-fi connectivity. It can comfortably seat 300 people and is used for school dance, music and drama performances. A commercial kitchen is adjacent with access to inside the hall as well as its own foyer serving area.
